This upscale hotel is a 3-minute walk from Santa Monica State Beach, half a mile from Santa Monica Pier and 1 mile from Route 1 (the Pacific Highway).

Great hotel location, design, comfortability and cleanliness. My lower rating was due to the fact that they had no jacuzzi and one warm pool that had tons of wires sticking out of it and maintenance was replacing all the lights in that pool so we were only able to enter the cold pool on a cold day :/ Lack of amenities as well was a minus but location walking distance to the beach and pier was a pl

We had a great stay. Pools were a little small but perfect to sit and relax poolside. There were a few families but we didn’t mind getting in the empty pool in the shade. Food and drinks were great! Definitely recommend!

The Viceroy Santa Monica experience was spectacular beyond belief. We were celebrating May birthdays. They welcomed us with complementary glasses of Prosecco. We indulged in exquisite cuisine and cocktails. Brunch was the perfect mix of sweet (Dutch pancake) and savory (chilaquiles). We sipped and savored at the dreamy patio/pool area and the venue's lush, luxe room. Refreshing perfection.
